Your challenge

As Account Manager Bioscience for Central Netherlands, you will report to the Commercial Lead and work with a dynamic team to deliver innovative solutions to our customers, expand existing operations and identify new opportunities.

In this role:

  • You thrive in an environment of hunters and farmers, and you are proactively looking for new sales opportunities and relationships within biotech companies, the pharmaceutical industry, academic hospitals, universities, food testing industries and CROs, among others.
  • You promote the use of cell and tissue culture products, liquid handling products and High Throughput Screening products.
  • You develop and implement a strategic area plan and account plans.
  • You use your insight and prioritization skills to deploy the right resources and achieve sales targets.
  • You work smoothly with the back office to ensure that all essential administration is in order to make new proposals to clients.
  • You will work closely with technical teams to provide the right support for important projects in the region.
  • You ensure the flawless execution of opportunities and projects through close cooperation with, for example, customer service and product management.
  • You will manage the sales funnel and ensure an accurate registration of sales opportunities in the CRM system to achieve KPIs.

Your Profile

  • An academic degree (BSc, MSc) or equivalent experience in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biomedical Sciences, etc.
  • Affinity with the lab and knowledge of cell culture, liquid handling and High Throughput Screening, among other things.
  • A strong commercial drive and relevant experience in sales and account management.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a knack for relationship management.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong presentation skills.
  • The ability to set both short-term and long-term objectives for the company and work independently.
  • Fluent Dutch and a good command of English.
