Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Area Manager – South of Italy to drive strategic account planning, develop strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and monitor market trends to ensure business growth in the assigned territory. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in executing commercial strategies, managing projects, and ensuring the effective implementation of account management methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic account planning to maximize business opportunities and enhance customer relationships.
  • Establish and maintain strong partnerships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to foster market influence and gain insights into industry trends.
  • Monitor and analyze market dynamics, competition, and industry trends to identify opportunities and risks in the diagnostic sector.
  • Ensure the achievement of commercial objectives through effective sales planning and execution.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to align business strategies and optimize market positioning.
  • Lead and execute projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to company goals.
  • Utilize best practices in account management methodologies, such as Miller Heiman or similar, to drive business success.
  • Provide regular reporting on market evolution, customer insights, and business performance to senior management.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in account management within the diagnostic sector, preferably with training in Miller Heiman methodologies or similar.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional initiatives.
  • Excellent ability to develop and maintain relationships with KOLs and other key stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills to monitor market evolution and identify business opportunities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Fluency in English (C1 level required) and Italian.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining alignment with company objectives.
  • Availability for frequent travel within the assigned territory.
