Your Challenge

We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Business Development Director Preanalytics EMEA to join our regional commercial organization and elevate our Preanalytics business to the next level.
In this key leadership role, you will develop and execute regional commercial and marketing strategies focused on sustainable growth, innovation, and market leadership. As a bridge between commercial and business unit teams, you’ll help define how we bring our offerings to market, shape channel and pricing strategies, and act as a voice of the customer within the organization.
Sales Strategy & Growth
- Define and execute a forward-looking sales and profitability strategy
- Set and monitor annual regional targets in alignment with the VP Sales
- Drive performance optimization across sales teams in collaboration with country sales leaders
- Support strategic pricing decisions and develop business-unit-specific marketing roadmaps
- Identify and pursue new growth opportunities in coordination with the Business Unit
- Engage directly with Key Opinion Leaders and strategic customers
Sales Leadership & Cross-functional Collaboration
- Enhance commercial capabilities across all markets and customer groups
- Lead virtual, cross-functional teams to deliver on business priorities
- Partner with internal stakeholders to drive cohesive messaging and a unified value proposition
- Actively contribute to talent selection and development across the organization
- Cultivate a collaborative culture that maximizes commercial impac
Market & Competitive Intelligence
- Proactively assess market trends, competitor strategies, and customer needs
- Provide strategic insights that influence product roadmaps and marketing direction
- Champion a deep understanding of healthcare and laboratory environments in the EMEA region
Your profile
- Degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Strong business acumen with domain expertise in Preanalytics
- Proven record of driving commercial growth in complex, matrix organizations
- Excellent understanding of healthcare procurement and solution-based sales
- Highly collaborative, with strong influencing and communication skills
- Experience in leading cross-functional initiatives and managing virtual teams
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
- Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis

In addition to numerous attractive employee benefits, the minimum annual gross salary for this position, in accordance with the collective agreement for the Austrian chemical industry, is EUR 78.383,90. The actual salary will be based on your qualifications and professional experience and will be agreed upon individually
