Your Challenge
- In the role of Director Strategy & Global Project Management, you will define, drive, and continuously monitor the strategic development of Greiner Bio-One (GBO) while leading and further developing the Global Project Management Office (PMO). You play a pivotal role in shaping GBO’s long-term strategic direction and ensuring consistent excellence and transparency in global project execution.
- As a member of the Global Leadership Team, you directly influence the company’s strategic agenda with a strong focus on sustainable, profitable growth, as well as on strengthening commercial, operational, and organizational excellence. Together with your team and the broader GBO organization—in close alignment with the corporate functions of Greiner AG—you co-create and refine the corporate strategy, develop and translate it into business unit strategies, steer and track the implementation of strategic roadmaps, and lead and coordinate M&A initiatives across the entire lifecycle. Furthermore, you and your team drive selected strategic projects and initiatives.
- Acting as a trusted strategic sparring partner and interface to the CEO, you will prepare, structure, and moderate key decision-making processes at both executive management and supervisory board levels. Your work will be centered on long-term value creation, operational efficiency, and future-oriented corporate governance and portfolio development.
- This role requires the ability to quickly absorb complex strategic, financial, and organizational topics, translate them into clear, fact-based, and actionable decision frameworks, and operate with a high degree of initiative, strategic judgment, diplomatic skill, discretion, and executional strength. A strong understanding of end-to-end value chains, interconnected business issues, and dependencies is essential.
- Through close collaboration with internal stakeholders across business units, production sites, and corporate functions — as well as with external partners — you will play a crucial role in driving the strategic, operational, and sustainable transformation of Greiner Bio-One on a global scale.

Your qualifications include:
- University degree (Master’s level preferred) in economics, engineering, or natural sciences
- 10+ years of relevant professional experience in strategy consulting and/or a comparable role in corporate or business unit strategy, or strategic project management – ideally with proven exposure to both consulting and corporate environments
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills, sound business judgment, an entrepreneurial mindset, and a proven ability to lead and inspire teams
- Proven ability to distill complex subject matter into clear, actionable insights; high self-motivation combined with a structured, hypothesis-driven, and results-oriented approach
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (written and spoken); German language skills are an asset
- Absolute reliability, discretion, and professionalism in handling confidential and highly sensitive executive-level information
- Experience in an international, matrixed, and dynamic business environment is an advantage

Due to legal requirements in Austria, we are obligated to disclose the minimum gross salary for the position as defined by the collective agreement which amounts to EUR 78.383,9 (collective agreement for the chemical industry). Depending on your qualifications and professional experience, you may be eligible for a significant overpayment.
