Long Description
Responsibility:
- Deliver on-site and virtual in-service training and implementation support to hospitals/customers.
- Provide post-training project summaries to Nursing leadership and key Laboratory Management.
- Work directly with Clinical Specialist Manager to develop, implement, and administer programs to improve the product evaluation and new business conversion processes.
- Improve evaluation success rates, reduce conversion timelines, and improve customer satisfaction/retention.
- Partner with Account Managers to create customer satisfaction and provide product training.
- Work cross-functionally to develop programs that differentiate GBO from competitors.
- Identify new product opportunities and concepts while in the field to support sales strategy.
- Assists in developing and implementing on-going training of the sales team.
- Identify limitations in conversion processes and implements new processes to improve/enhance our field performance.
- Develop/maintain relationships with key customers and contacts in the field (assists Marketing in identification of relevant customer references, testimonials, and content-specific speakers).
- Ensure ‘Super Users’ are identified and comfortable with instructing others on the proper use of the device (train-the-trainer program).
- Provide temporary coverage for vacant sales territories as needed.
- Participate in gap analysis business reviews and planning sessions with the Account Manager to identify target accounts where Clinical Specialist can expand existing business.
- Meet or exceed quarterly/annual revenue quotas through expansion sales and new small account opportunities identified in conjunction with the Account Manager.
- Manage time and travel expenses in accordance with company policy.
- Manage all aspects of the evaluation/implementation process.
- Maximize sales efforts by working with Sales Team during selling processes, in-services, and/or implementations.
- Oversee all aspects of the evaluation and implementation process.
- Collect and compile data for internal and external (customer) use.
- Participate in regional or national programs as needed.
Requirements
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma (Bachelor’s degree or related field of experience preferred).
- Experience in Clinical Laboratory (working knowledge of CLSI Venipuncture Standards).
- Experience in phlebotomy (ideally on GBO products).
- Excellent computer skills (MS Office).
- Strong selling/persuasive skills.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational skills.
- 50-75% travel required and ability to train using a variety of video platforms (Zoom, Webex, Teams, etc.)
- Field based role.
- Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license with no suspensions or major infractions over the previous five years. An annual MVR will be required on all company authorized drivers.
- Possess and provide documentation that personal motor vehicle insurance coverage is maintained at company specified limits.
Physical Requirements:

- Regularly required to stand, sit, reach, bend and move within facilities.
- Light physical effort may be required.
- Ability to physically travel to customer sites with various schedules and possibly different time zones.
