Job Description
Develop or test models of alternate designs or processing methods to assess feasibility, sustainability, operating condition effects, potential new applications, or necessity of modification. Inform management in case of quality deviations. Support of apprentice training. Stocktaking (inventory) of spare parts. Securing availability of spare parts; Analyzing and solving machine malfunctions. Investigate equipment failures or difficulties to diagnose faulty operation and recommend remedial actions. Technical support of subsidiary Greiner Bio-One production plants. Preparation of training documents and trainings of employees. Develop, coordinate, or monitor all aspects of production, including selection of manufacturing methods, fabrication, or operation of product designs. Participating in 5S and Lean activities. Participating in working on QAB QIR (Quality Deviation Reports). Set up and bringing machines into service (VAC department). Maintenance of machines (VAC department). Confer with engineers or other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, or provide technical information. Set up of process measuring and control technologies (VAC department). Maintenance of batchers and dosing systems. Optimization of cycle times. General process optimization. (Quality / SQL) database administration. 5% to 10% International Travel required.
Minimum Requirements
Must have three (3) years of experience as a Maintenance Engineer in the medical technology manufacturing industry. Experience must include: Implementation and compliance of good automated manufacturing practice (GAMP) and ISO standards in medical device manufacturing. Analysis, troubleshooting and repair of high speed automation machinery. Root Cause Analysis, assembly and validation of automated production lines. Maintenance supervision, training and mentoring of apprentices/junior maintenance workers. Electrical, PLC and mechanical knowledge in an ISO environment, focused on SOP’s, Testing and Regulatory audits. MS Office, SAP, AutoCAD. Data analysis of quality and batch data using structured query language (SQL). 5% to 10% International Travel required.
