Manufacturing Engineer

Your challenge

  • Analyze current business processes and performance, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Lead and facilitate Kaizen events, root cause analysis, and problem-solving workshops aligned with strategic goals.
  • Train and mentor employees on continuous improvement tools and techniques.
  • Conducts production investigations and determines root cause and associated corrective/preventative actions.
  • Strive to optimize business workflows and resources.
  • Identify opportunities, propose solutions and implement actions for preventing waste and inefficiencies.
  • Propose and support the implementation of actions to maximize safety, quality and reduce costs.
  • Actively support the Greiner Continuous Improvement Program (CIP).
  • Implement and monitor Corrective and Preventive Actions.
  • Ensures that manufacturing procedures follow safety and environmental regulations.
  • Support development and improvement of production, processes, and personnel.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process optimization and cost reduction.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track improvement progress.
  • Document and standardize best practices and process changes.
  • Perform daily gemba and observation walks
  • Stays up to date with international engineering trends by visiting trade shows, researching relevant emerging technologies, and/or evaluating supplier’s capabilities.
  • Collaborate with other global facilities
  • Other duties as assigned.

Your Profile

Job Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification (Black Belt preferred).
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, fabrication methods, methods including Injection Molding and/or high thruput automated assembling process.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Minitab, Power B.I. etc)
  • Commitment to health and safety standards and environmental regulations.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and listening skills.
  • Experience in Project Management.
  • Proven ability to analyze and troubleshoot processes.
