Manufacturing Engineering Technician

Your challenge

•    Perform investigations as assigned.
•    Conducts production investigations and determines root cause and support in the implementation of corrective/preventative actions.
•    Monitor and propose improvements in manufacturing workflows and resources.
•    Creates and maintains required documentation for manufacturing processes.
•    Implement actions for preventing waste and production inefficiencies. 
•    Propose and support the implementation of actions to maximize safety, quality and reduce costs.
•    Support installation and startup of new production systems.
•    Resolves issues and delays in production.
•    Execute OPEX activities as assigned.
•    Execute DOEs in collaboration with the Process and Engineering team.
•    Ensures that manufacturing procedures follow safety and environmental regulations.
•    Support development and improvement of production, processes, and personnel.
•    Execute activities related to Change Control and Corrective and Preventive Actions.
•    Execute validation activities within the department.
•    Investigate production quality deviation and customer claims.
•    Qualification and training of production personnel
•    Stays up to date with international engineering trends by visiting trade shows, researching relevant emerging technologies, and/or evaluating supplier’s capabilities.
•    Other duties as assigned.

Your Profile

Job Requirements:

•    High School diploma or equivalent required. 
•    Associate degree in industrial related field preferred.
•    Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
•    Knowledge of manufacturing processes, fabrication methods. Knowledge Injection Molding and/or high thruput automated assembling process are preferable. 
•    Commitment to health and safety standards and environmental regulations.
•    Problem-solving, communication, and listening skills.
•    Proven ability to analyze and troubleshoot production processes.
•    Project management Knowledge.

Physical Requirements:
•    Ability to occasionally lift up to 50lbs.
•    Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time.
