Senior Accountant - Accounts Receivable

Your challenge
• Reconcile customer rebates for outstanding balances via reporting, maintain proper documentation of short pay history, and address customer remittance inquiries from customer and the customer success team
• Monthly reconciliation of customer rebates per contract, issuance of credit memos and rebate analysis for rebate provisions
• Partner with Commercial Excellence teams to provide effective, concise and crytal clear communication that aligns with our culture of collaboration, inclusiveness and results driven
• Establish financial modeling of accounts receivable performance and working capital, customer payment patterns, GPO and rebates impact and AR KPI Reporting to identify and mitigate risks based on alternate variables
• Establish world class reporting and analysis to optimize working capital as it relates to accounts receivables, distributor expected inventory levels and process for auditing distributor inventory levels.
• Maintain GPO & local contract pricing files including GPO cross reference tools
• Collaborate with external auditors and customer excellence teams to improve transparency of accounts receivables management, rebate administration and customer short pays
• IContracts database administrator and ensure compliance of contract database
• General accounting duties for month end activities such as reclasses, provision calculations and manual journal posting
• Manage accounting deliverables and communications with internal and external audit teams; audit requests and inquiries supporting year-end closing, customer audits and compliance testing
• Prepare Data for Rebate Provision Review & Posting during month end reporting
• Drive resolutions of complex issues associated with customer and GPO accounts assigned to other collection associates.
• All accounting duties as assigned
Your Profile
• 5+ years of recent SAP R3 & S/4HANA
• 5+ years general accounting and month end processing
• CPA or CPA eligible a plus
• Global manufacturing experience a plus
• 3+ year AR experience
• 3+ year contract administration experience
• Strong verbal and communication skills with all levels of management and non management
• Strong organizational, analytical, time management an communication skills
• Able to work in a team environment, with strong collaboration skills
• Able to work independently on assigned responsibilities and prioritize multiple completing tasks
• Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint) knowledge
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting
• Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration a plus
• Ability to manage confidential or sensitive information with discretion
• 2+ years using data retrieval applications (Hyperion, Tagetik, AFO, BW, BI) a plus
• Ability to work in a Full-time capacity
• Medical Device,Pharmaceutical or GPO Industry experience a plus
• Fast Paced Office work Environment
Physical Requirements:
• Normal office environment, ability to sit, stand, walk, and operate office equipment
• Must be able to travel by car or plane to domestic or international locations as needed
• Up to 20% of travel possible
• Ability to occasionally work beyond normal work hours when project demands
