Your challenge
Responsibility:
• Manage of all raw material warehouse and distribution operations including receiving, storage.
• Skilled in professional communications with customers, executive and shopfloor teams
• Comfort giving and receiving constructive critique
• Ability to obtain and evaluate imperfect data to make data-driven decisions
• Experience developing labor models
• Experience developing best-in-class warehouse and distribution workflows
• Ensures that all daily resources are adequate to meet the organization's goal
• Further develops and manages department KPI’s to improve performance and efficiency
• Responsible for inventory accuracy as also further development in coordination with inventory control team
• Enforcement of company policies and procedures, while creating a safe and friendly working environment
• Responsible to ensure sufficient recruiting, qualification and training within the department
• Execution and assurance of performance reviews for the department with derivation of training/improvement actions
• Establishes, follows and enforces safety standards and procedures in compliance with legal requirements
• Maintain and create procedures and QM documentation in compliance with FDA requirements
• Monitoring and management of department expenses in line with the defined budget
• Maintain positive work environment and work relation to other departments as well as affiliated facilities.
• Responsible for creating and recommending strategic plans to achieve warehouse objectives and future growth
• Planning of personnel, investments and expenses for dedicated cost centers within budget and forecast process
• Development and implementation of standards that support operational excellence targets to reduce cost and improve efficiency of warehouse and distribution center
• Responsible for supplier relationship and negotiations with freight carriers and other service providers
• Other duties as assigned
Your Profile
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field, or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years experience in Supply Chain, or Warehouse and Distribution Management
• Demonstrated experience leading a large team with multiple responsibilities
• Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Strong analytical and math skills
• Effective oral and writing communication skills, including executive level presentation skills
• Working knowledge of ISO 13485, FDA Quality System Regulation, and GMP
• Advanced computer knowledge – MS Office and ERP, SAP preferred
• Lean Management experience preferred
• Advanced degree, CSCP, or other related certifications a plus
