Warehouse & Distribution Manager

Your challenge

• Manage of all warehouse operations including receiving, storage and distribution 
• Ensures that all daily resources are adequate to meet the organization's goal 
• Further develops and manages department KPI’s to improve performance and efficiency 
• Responsible for inventory accuracy as also further development in coordination with inventory control team 
• Enforcement of company policies and procedures, while creating a safe and friendly working environment 
• Responsible to ensure sufficient recruiting, qualification and training within the department 
• Execution and assurance of performance reviews for the department with derivation of training/improvement actions 
• Establishes, follows and enforces safety standards and procedures in compliance with legal requirements 
• Maintain and create procedures and QM documentation in compliance with FDA requirements 
• Monitoring and management of department expenses in line with the defined budget 
• Maintain positive work environment and work relation to other departments as well as affiliated facilities. 
Strategic 
• Responsible for creating and recommending strategic plans to achieve warehouse objectives and future growth 
• Planning of personnel, investments and expenses for dedicated cost centers within budget and forecast process 
• Development and implementation of standards that support operational excellence targets to reduce cost and improve efficiency of warehouse and distribution center 
• Responsible for supplier relationship and negotiations with freight carriers and other service providers 
• Other duties as assigned
 

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field of study (Preferred) 
• Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in supply chain or warehouse management that includes Lean Management experience (Preferred) 
• Experience in leading a large team with multiple responsibilities 
• Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals 
• Strong analytical and math skills • Effective oral and written communications 
• Ability to lead and direct the work of others 
• ISO, GMP knowledge/experience • Advanced computer knowledge – Microsoft Office and Enterprise software experience, prefer SAP


Physical Requirements:
•    Ability to lift 50lbs and ability to sit or stand up to 12 hours
