Responsibility

 

  • Assist the Warehouse Supervisor

Job Requirements

  • Direct staff to ensure daily tasks and set priorities are met as assigned by warehouse supervisor.
  • Manage warehouse improvement projects with warehouse manager and supervisor
  • Receive and inspect incoming goods to be certain items, lot numbers, and quantities are correct.
  • Unloading and separate containers/trailers by item and lot number.
  • Put-away in warehouse location.
  • Perform SAP inventory transaction.
  • Prepare shipping documents utilizing UPS station.
  • Cleanliness of warehouse must be maintained.
  • Shrink-wrap pallets in preparation of put-away or shipping.
  • Accurately record of inventory must be maintained.
  • Understand product status (releases, QA hold,  etc.)
  • Understand the meaning of item and lot number.
  • Follow forklift safety guidelines.
  • Follow safe lifting practices.
  • Cross training and training of new and existing employees.
  • Intermediate SAP knowledge
  • Prepare Bill of Laden (BOLs) and shipping documents

Physical Requirements

  • Standing or walking- approximately 4 hours per day.
  • Kneeling, reaching, steps and stairs/pushing and pulling as needed to meet job requirements.
  • Lifting packages 18 to 32 lbs. repeatedly, occasionally lifting to approximately 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work on order picker platform at heights of approx. 20 feet
