Your Challenge

To ensure the safety and general upkeep of electrical equipment including carrying out preventative maintenance.

Role Specifics

  • A willingness to welcome and participate in CIP in the various procedures within the department
  • To perform electrical diagnostics as required
  • Maintain and update electrical schematics
  • Electromechanical fault diagnosis
  • Assist with additional Mechanical tasks e.g Tool changes
  • Update and maintenance of records in accordance with internal systems, ISO9001, ISO14001, BRC etc.
  • Lead and facilitate energy reduction plans for shift team and ensure that energy efficiency considerations are factored into daily work.
  • Any other duties/projects as requested

Essential criteria

  • Recognised apprenticeship qualification (BTEC ONC Level 2 or above in Electrical) served within a manufacturing environment
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience post completion of apprenticeship
  • Proven experience of preventative maintenance
  • Understanding of electrical control systems and ability to fault find electrical issues
  • Working knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics, ability to understand schematics and ability to fault find both process and mechanical issues
