Procurement Manager

As a Procurement Manager, you will lead sourcing activities and ensure alignment with global strategies. You will work closely with category managers and other teams to manage suppliers, support tenders, and improve supply performance. Key Responsibilities
- Act as a sparring partner for category managers, particularly on region-specific topics.
- Ensure alignment and effective execution of global procurement strategies and initiatives.
- Support tender processes and negotiations for both regional and global categories.
- Consolidate regional market insights and act on local opportunities to optimize sourcing performance.
- Manage and develop key regional suppliers, ensuring strong relationships and performance improvement.
- Own and implement the regional sourcing strategy for fully regional categories.
- Drive and coordinate the approval process of new regional materials in collaboration with R&D and change management team.
- Oversee procurement, transportation, distribution, and stock control activities for products and raw materials.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and accurate system records for materials and finished goods warehouses.
- Continuously research alternative sources, materials, and suppliers to drive innovation and improvement.
- Maintain close cooperation and regular communication with global procurement teams and headquarters to align processes, share best practices, and support global sourcing initiatives.
- Support the integration of sustainability, compliance, and risk management standards into local procurement activities.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer and collaboration between local and global teams to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with group standards.
- Prepare and submit regular performance and management reports to senior leadership.
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or purchasing management, preferably in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and contract negotiation.
- Experience in import/export operations, customs procedures, and logistics management.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, BRC or similar quality management systems.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office applications.
- Strong analytical, planning, and reporting skills.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work in coordination with global procurement teams and multicultural environments.
- Result-oriented, cost-conscious, and capable of driving continuous improvement projects.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
