Your Challenge
Driving Customer Value & Profitability in our Business Unit Assistec
We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our efforts in maximizing customer value across our business unit project portfolio. Our Senior Expert Customer Value Management will develop and execute strategies around business intelligence, market and customer segmentation, account planning and execution, and value-based pricing, ensuring our products and services align with customer needs. The role is a key-driver of strategic decision making and needs to deliver tailored solutions to various customer segments within the technical plastics parts and components industry, aiming for long-term growth and above-average returns for the company. The challenge is to deepen our customer engagement, develop unique value propositions, and steer the BU towards growth in revenue and profitability through a combination of strategic marketing, customer insight management, and specific value capture initiatives.
The Core Responsibilities include
- Customer Value Creation: Analyze customer needs and gaps to identify untapped value potential. Implement roadmaps for value creation initiatives that align with customer segments, enhancing product offerings and service quality.
- Value-Based Pricing & Value Capture: Develop and implement value-based pricing strategies to maximize profitability, and lead change management initiatives to embed these practices across the business unit.
- Strategic Marketing Capability Building: Develop and lead the business unit's data-driven decision-making framework, improve customer insights with CRM tools, and establish KPIs to measure the success of marketing and customer value initiatives.
- Integrated Customer Offer Management & Steering: Develop and implement framework, governance, and processes to increase win-rate and value generation through customer RFQs.
- Cross-Functional Leadership & Change Management: Lead cross-functional teams to achieve strategic goals and implement change management for value-based selling, while aligning internal stakeholders and leveraging Group synergies for growth.
Your Profile
- University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a technical discipline - an MBA is a plus
- 5+ years of experience, preferably in manufacturing or a B2B environment
- Proven track record in customer segmentation, pricing and strategic marketing, preferably with management consulting experience
- Excellent project management and process development skills
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate complex business intelligence into actionable insights
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams and driving change management across international, matrixed organizations is an advantage
- Certified Pricing Professional (CPP) certification, and knowledge and experience with Salesforce.com, Leverage Point, and SAP (S4/Hana) are a plus
- Fluent in English
