As Director Group Procurement Regional Sourcing, you will lead and build up an international team of Regional Strategic Buyers and play a key role in translating Greiner's global procurement strategy into regional execution.

 

In this leadership position, you will ensure strong collaboration between Category Management and regional procurement organizations, driving sourcing excellence, supplier performance, and stakeholder value creation across regions. This is great opportunity to actively shape the future of procurement at Greiner.

Your Main Journey

  • Lead, develop, and inspire the key team of Regional Strategic Buyers. 
  • Build future-ready procurement capabilities through coaching, mentoring, and targeted talent development. 
  • Act as the primary interface between Category Managers and regional/local procurement teams. 
  • Ensure consistent and effective execution of sourcing strategies across all regions. 
  • Drive regional procurement initiatives and contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement processes and governance. 
  • Support strategic regional supplier negotiations and foster sustainable supplier relationships. 
  • Ensure effective stakeholder management across business units and functions. 
  • Monitor sourcing performance, identify improvement opportunities, and drive procurement excellence.

Your Profile

  • University degree in Economics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field; alternatively, equivalent professional experience.
  • Several years of international leadership experience in strategic sourcing and procurement
  • Proven track record in managing direct and indirect procurement categories within complex international organizations
  • Strong understanding of procurement governance, sourcing methodologies, and supplier management.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills across different organizational levels.
  • Strategic mindset combined with a pragmatic hands-on approach and strong execution capabilities.
  • Fluent in English; German and additional languages are considered an asset.

In accordance with legal requirements in Austria, we are obliged to disclose the minimum annual gross salary for this position as defined by the collective agreement, which is € 85,704.64 (Chemical Industry Collective Agreement). We are, of course, willing to offer a market-aligned overpayment depending on your individual qualifications and professional experience.
