As an Expert Division Tax Management, you will take on a pivotal role in managing the tax affairs of our internationally active divisions. Partnering closely with Tax Business Partners and Division CFOs, you will help shape and implement tax strategies that drive our business forward. This role is ideal for ambitious professionals eager to deepen their expertise in tax law while building a career in a dynamic, global industrial environment.

Your Challenge

  • Tax Advisory & Compliance: Manage national and international tax matters independently, with a focus on corporate income tax, personal income tax, VAT, withholding tax, and double taxation agreements
  • Projects & Transactions: Provide tax support for domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, restructurings, and reorganizations
  • Tax Standards & Processes: Contribute to the design, rollout, and continuous improvement of group-wide tax processes and policies in close collaboration with divisional Tax Business Partners
  • Strategic Tax Projects: Support group-wide initiatives such as transfer pricing, tax accounting, and Pillar Two compliance in coordination with the Tax Business Partners
  • Transfer Pricing & Documentation: Develop transfer pricing concepts and documentation, and contribute to related tax calculations
  • Regulatory Monitoring & Reporting: Track national and international tax law developments and proactively update relevant stakeholders across the group
  • Project Management: Lead and coordinate tax projects at both national and international levels

Your Profile

  • Completed (Bachelor’s) degree in tax law, business law, or finance; a Master’s degree is an advantage
  • At least two years of relevant professional experience in taxation, ideally within an international corporate environment or in tax consulting
  •  Foundational knowledge of corporate tax law, international tax law, and/or statutory VAT rules
  • Strong interest in complex tax matters and working in a global setting 
  • Excellent analytical skills, a structured working approach, and high sense of personal responsibility
  • Strong communication skills; excellent command of German and English, both written and spoken
  • A certified tax advisor certification is not required; though we will gladly support you should you wish to pursue this qualification in the future

Due to legal standards in Austria, we are required to disclose the minimum annual gross salary for the position as defined by the collective agreement, which amounts € 59,781.96 (collective agreement for chemical industry).
