In this high-impact role reporting directly to the Executive Board, you will play a key role in advancing our commercial processes, tools, and strategies. With your strong analytical mindset, solution-oriented thinking, and deep understanding of sales operations, you will help boost our commercial performance across the group.

Your Challenge

  • Sales Strategy & Value Creation: Collaborate closely with our divisions to develop and implement sales strategies that sustainably increase revenue, profitability, and market share
  • Sales Operations Management: Optimize direct and indirect sales channels as well as sales processes to drive greater efficiency and effectiveness
  • Optimization Roadmap: Design and lead strategic initiatives to improve revenue generation, pricing effectiveness, and overall profitability
  • Commercial Potential Analysis: Analyze market, customer, and sales data to identify growth opportunities, attractive target segments, and aligned service levels
  • Strategic Pricing: Apply and evolve value-based pricing strategies with a strong understanding of financial metrics and performance indicators
  • Commercial Excellence: Improve processes with a focus on cross-functional collaboration (e.g., S&OP, Supply Chain, Finance) to enable integrated, company-wide sales strategies
  • Commercial Steering: Define a KPI framework for monitoring and managing commercial performance
     

Your Profile

  • University degree in Business Administration, Sales Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • Several years of experience in Product Management, Commercial Excellence, Sales Strategy, Pricing, or Sales Operations – ideally within an international corporate or consulting environment
  • Strong expertise in analyzing market and sales data, and in optimizing sales processes
  • Proven experience in implementing pricing models and customer/product segmentation strategies
  • Deep understanding of commercial processes, methodologies, and tools
  • Experience leading projects or teams in an international setting
  • Strong analytical and structured thinking skills, paired with solid business acumen and a good grasp of financial KPIs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English
  • Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 30–40%)


The position is based in Kremsmünster or Vienna.

Due to legal standards in Austria, we are required to disclose the minimum annual gross salary for the position as defined by the collective agreement, which amounts EUR 90,118.52€ (collective agreement for chemical industry). A willingness to offer additional compensation based on your individual profile and professional experience, as well as a performance bonus, is a given.
