Group Tax Manager (all genders)

Your Challenge

  • Independently manage and resolve questions in domestic and international tax law – particularly personal income tax, corporate income tax, VAT, withholding tax, and double tax treaties (DTTs)
  • Advise and support group-wide M&A projects, as well as restructurings and reorganisations, from a tax perspective
  • Provide guidance and hands-on support to the Accounting team on day-to-day operational tax matters
  • Design, implement, and continuously manage group-wide tax standards and processes
  • Lead project management for international tax initiatives (e.g., transfer pricing, Pillar Two, etc.)

Your Profile

  • Completed degree in Law or Business/Economics, ideally with a focus on taxation / tax law
  • Ideally 3+ years of relevant professional experience in an internationally active tax advisory / audit / fiduciary firm or within a global corporate group
  • Certified Tax Advisor qualification (e.g., Steuerberaterprüfung) or advanced progress toward certification is an advantage
  • Excellent German & English, both written and spoken
  • Strong interpersonal skills and confident, clear communication style
  • High level of team orientation and sense of ownership/accountability
  • Precise, flexible, and self-directed working style

Due to legal standards in Austria, we are required to disclose the minimum annual gross salary for the position as defined by the collective agreement, which amounts € 59,781.96 (collective agreement for chemical industry).
