Shape Risk Management at the Top Level – Strategic, Global, Future-Driven. As a Senior Expert Risk & Governance, you’ll play a key role in enhancing our group-wide risk and control systems. Your Challenge
- Lead Risk Management Processes: Plan and facilitate risk workshops across all organizational levels – from operational, site-specific sessions to strategic discussions with Executive Management
- Ensure Quality & Drive Reporting: Guarantee the accuracy and relevance of reported risks, develop and continuously improve reporting templates, and deliver insightful presentations to senior management
- Collaborate Across Governance Functions: Work closely with other second-line-of-defense teams to build a cohesive, integrated governance and control framework
- Design Internal Control Frameworks: Develop and define a company-wide Controls Management Framework based on selected end-to-end business processes
- Drive Systemic Enhancements: Oversee the implementation of the SAP Risk Management tool (SAP RAM) in close collaboration with our Governance & Compliance project team
- Audit Action Management: Actively manage, monitor, and progressively take full ownership of tracking and following up on internal audit actions
Your Profile
- Several years of proven experience in risk management and building internal control systems – ideally within a global industrial environment or multinational corporations/consultancies
- Degree in Business, Law, or a related field
- Relevant professional certifications in Risk Management and Internal Control Systems
- In-depth familiarity with established frameworks (e.g., COSO) and confident handling of SAP systems and project management tools
- Experienced in leading international, cross-functional (project) teams and engaging with stakeholders at all organizational levels
- Excellent communication skills, intercultural competence, and resilience under pressure
- Fluent in both German and English, written and spoken

Due to legal standards in Austria, we are required to disclose the minimum annual gross salary for the position as defined by the collective agreement, which amounts EUR 72,071.60€ (collective agreement for chemical industry). A willingness to offer additional compensation based on your individual profile and professional experience is a given.
