Your Challenge

  • CEO Advisory & Decision Enablement: Prepare and quality-check decision papers, board materials, briefings, and presentations; synthesize complex input into clear recommendations and decision-ready narratives
  • Strategic Agenda Management: Co-shape, prioritize, and orchestrate the CEO agenda in line with strategic objectives; anticipate emerging topics, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder dynamics
  • Strategy & Performance Steering: Support strategy and performance-management cycles; build executive readouts, concise summaries, and reliable follow-up cadences
  • Market & Competitive Intelligence: Translate market data, benchmarking, and intelligence into actionable insights and concrete recommendations
  • Stakeholder & Executive Interface: Act as a senior interface to the Supervisory Board, Executive Leadership Team, top leaders, and central functions; ensure alignment & drive cross-functional coordination
  • Strategic Communication & Executive Narrative: Craft and sharpen key messages, storylines, and decision narratives for internal and external formats – making strategy consistent, tangible, and compelling
  • Cross-functional Project Leadership: Lead strategic and operational initiatives end-to-end (concept, delivery, tracking, impact measurement)

Your Profile

  • Completed university degree (e.g., Business/Economics, Law, STEM, International Relations, or similar)
  • Several years of relevant experience in an industrial/corporate environment (e.g., CEO/Board Office, Strategy/Corporate Development, In-house Consulting, Investment/Corporate Finance) and/or top-tier consulting
  • Proven strength in strategy work, problem structuring, and C-level communication (decision memos, board decks, executive briefings)
  • Exceptional analytical capability, sound judgement, sharp prioritization, and strong ownership; outstanding ability to translate complex topics into crisp, executive-ready materials
  • Experience leading complex projects with multiple stakeholders in dynamic environments
  • High discretion, integrity, flexibility, and resilience
  • Strong communication skills, confident executive presence, and a collaborative mindset – enjoying close work with the Executive Board and multiple management layers in a global setting
  • Fluent German and English (written and spoken)

In accordance with legal requirements in Austria, we are obliged to disclose the minimum annual gross salary for this position as defined by the collective agreement, which is € 72,171.26 (Chemical Industry Collective Agreement). We are, of course, willing to offer a market-aligned overpayment depending on your individual qualifications and professional experience.
