Take on a pivotal role as Executive Assistant to the COO of the Greiner Group and help drive the strategic and operational development of our global organization. You will be a key contributor in high-level meetings, actively shape relevant topics, and independently lead important initiatives. In this central role, you'll work closely with Greiner's top global leadership and gain deep insight into commercial, production, procurement, and digital topics – from both a strategic and operational perspective.

Your Challenge

  • Strategic Support & Executive Assistance: Prepare, review, and refine key documents, presentations, and decision-making materials for the COO. Ensure smooth information flow and provide support in preparing strategic and operational topics for a wide range of stakeholders
  • High-Level Communication Hub: Act as a central point of coordination between the COO and internal stakeholders such as the Supervisory Board, Executive Board, Executive Leadership Team, divisional leadership, and functional departments
  • Meeting Preparation & Follow-up: Independently manage the full cycle of strategic meetings and committees – from briefing preparation to active participation and follow-up. Summarize outcomes, initiate follow-up actions, and ensure their execution
  • Project Leadership & Execution: Independently lead and implement selected strategic initiatives. Proactively manage and support key projects within the COO’s scope of responsibility

Your Profile

  • University degree in business, engineering, natural sciences, or a comparable qualification
  • At least three years of relevant experience in an industrial environment (e.g. in-house consulting, corporate strategy, business development, performance management, controlling) or in management consulting; hands-on experience in setting up and managing projects is a strong plus
  • Strong interest in strategic and operational topics such as Commercial & Operational Excellence, Procurement, Innovation, and Digitalization / IT, with a commitment to continuous learning
  • Excellent analytical skills, a high level of initiative, and a structured, independent working style
  • Resilience, flexibility, and a strong sense of discretion and confidentiality
  • Exceptional communication skills – both verbal and written – and a confident demeanor when engaging with internal and external stakeholders across all management levels
  • Team-oriented mindset and enthusiasm for working closely with the COO, Executive Board, and colleagues across various functions in a global context
  • Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken

Due to legal standards in Austria, we are required to disclose the minimum annual gross salary for the position as defined by the collective agreement, which amounts EUR 65,748.20 (collective agreement for chemical industry).
