Be the voice of our company – and help shape how the world sees us! As our Media Spokesperson & Channel Manager, you will represent Greiner in the public eye – confidently, clearly, and with a strong sense of what matters. You’ll serve as the voice of the company toward media, the public, and other key stakeholders. Within the Greiner Mediahouse, you will drive impactful media initiatives that support strategic, value-based communication. Your Challenge
- Strategic Media Relations & Reputation Management: Develop and execute a compelling media strategy to position the company both nationally and internationally
- Press & Media Inquiries: Handle incoming media requests; draft and align statements, briefings, Q&As, and editorial content
- C-Level Communications: Support and position senior leadership for interviews and public appearances with strategic media guidance
- Content Management: Identify and develop high-impact stories aligned with corporate strategy and public relevance
- Crisis Communications: Lead external communications during sensitive situations with speed, clarity, and reliability
- Media Monitoring & Analysis: Track media coverage to spot opportunities, trends, and potential risks early on
- Stakeholder Management: Maintain and grow a strong network of journalists, media partners, and internal stakeholders
Your Profile
- Degree in Communications, Media, Journalism, Business, or a related field
- Several years of professional experience in media and press relations (ideally within an international industrial setting or in journalism with a strategic focus), along with a well-established network of media contacts
- Proven ability to create impactful communication formats and to write compelling statements, press releases, and editorial articles
- Deep understanding of journalistic workflows, newsworthiness, and modern media dynamics
- Confident, composed communication style – even in high-pressure situations – and strong diplomatic instincts for handling sensitive topics
- Excellent command of both German and English, written and spoken, with a keen eye for audience-appropriate language and tone

Due to legal standards in Austria, we are required to disclose the minimum annual gross salary for the position as defined by the collective agreement, which amounts EUR 72,071.60 (collective agreement for chemical industry). A willingness to offer additional compensation based on your individual profile and professional experience is a given.
