As Senior Expert Internal & Change Communications, you lead internal and change communications across the organization – ensuring employees are informed, engaged, and aligned with our strategic transformation initiatives and culture programs. You act as a key driver of clear messaging, strong storytelling, and impactful communication channels that connect people, strategy, and purpose within our company. Your challenge

  • Strategic development and management of group-wide internal communication channels (e.g., employee magazine, newsletters, intranet, employee platforms)
  • Lead and continuously develop internal and change communications across the organization to maximize employee reach and impact
  • Develop, manage, and evolve the company intranet as a central employee communication platform
  • Close collaboration with business units and central functions to ensure clear, compelling, and consistent messaging
  • Support and organize internal events that foster engagement, alignment, and dialogue
  • Budget planning, monitoring, and overall responsibility for internal communication measures, as well as management of external tools and service providers
  • Development and implementation of innovative communication formats to strengthen engagement and corporate culture
  • Measure communication effectiveness using key performance indicators such as employee reach, engagement, and participation
  • Sparring partner to the Executive Board and top management on all matters related to internal communication

Your Profile

  • Degree in Communications, Media Studies, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a comparable field
  • 5+ years of professional experience in internal and change communications
  • Strong expertise in internal communication and change communication methodologies
  • Proven experience in managing digital employee communication tools, e.g. employee apps and state-of-the art intranet platforms
  • Experience in leading and implementing international projects
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and experience collaborating with Business Partners
  • Independent, structured way of working combined with strong team skills, a high level of execution capability, and strong resilience
  • Excellent messaging, storytelling, and content development skills
  • Ability to execute an internal communications strategy and translate strategy into practice
  • Advanced capability in managing internal communication channels
  • Excellent command of both German and English, written and spoken

In accordance with legal requirements in Austria, we are obliged to disclose the minimum annual gross salary for this position as defined by the collective agreement, which is € 65,605.54 (Chemical Industry Collective Agreement). We are, of course, willing to offer a market-aligned overpayment depending on your individual qualifications and professional experience.
