As a Senior Expert Internal Audit, you play a key role in assessing and further developing the processes and systems of the Greiner Group worldwide. Through your audits across international locations, you create transparency, strengthen internal control systems, and make a direct contribution to efficiency, compliance, and the company’s sustainable growth. You bring your expertise to both strategic topics and operational improvement projects and act as a trusted sparring partner for senior leaders across all business units.
Your Challenge
- Plan, prepare, and execute internal audits at Greiner sites worldwide
- Take end-to-end ownership of audit projects
- Develop clear, actionable recommendations for management to reduce risks and optimize processes
- Track agreed action plans and maintain a regular dialogue with internal stakeholders
- Define, update, and continuously improve standardized audit programs
- Design and perform data analyses to identify risks, trends, and improvement opportunities
Your Profile
- Several years of solid professional experience in audit, ideally in an international corporate environment
- Completed university (master) degree with a focus on Accounting, Controlling, Business law, Audit, Finance or in a comparable field
- Strong team player with a high level of initiative and enjoyment of independent, structured work
- High intercultural competence and confident appearance when dealing with international stakeholders
- Business-fluent English and basic knowledge of German; additional languages are an advantage
- Hands-on experience in Data Analytics
- Experience in risk management and SAP is an advantage
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g. CIA, CISA, CFE) are a plus
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to convey complex topics in a clear and tailored manner

In accordance with legal requirements in Austria, we are obliged to disclose the minimum annual gross salary for this position as defined by the collective agreement, which is € 72,171.26 (Chemical Industry Collective Agreement). We are, of course, willing to offer a market-aligned overpayment depending on your individual qualifications and professional experience.
