As a Senior Expert Operational Excellence, you will play a pivotal role in driving the continuous improvement of our global production and business processes. Your Challenge

  • Process Optimization: Analyze and enhance existing processes across the entire value chain to sustainably increase standardization, efficiency, and profitability
  • Operational Excellence Agenda: Lead and implement the group-wide Operational Excellence roadmap in close collaboration with relevant business divisions
  • Leadership Culture: Promote a culture of openness to change by developing and implementing innovative solutions together with leaders and teams
  • Performance Management: Establish meaningful KPIs, dashboards, and reporting standards to ensure transparent management and measurement of OpEx initiatives
  • Benchmarking & Continuous Improvement: Identify, evaluate, and scale effective optimization approaches based on internal best practices and external benchmarks
  • Safety Culture: Foster a strong company-wide safety mindset and integrate occupational safety principles into all processes
  • Change Management & Training: Support transformation processes through targeted communication, practical training, and active stakeholder engagement

Your Profile

  • University degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Production Engineering, or a comparable field is an advantage, but not required
  • Several years of professional experience in Operational Excellence, process optimization, or supply chain management – ideally within an international manufacturing environment
  • Proven success in designing, implementing, and scaling Operational Excellence initiatives, as well as leading complex projects and change programs
  • Strong understanding of S&OP processes and in-depth knowledge of Lean Management, Continuous Improvement (CIP), and Six Sigma; certifications are a plus
  • Experience leading projects or international teams, combined with intercultural competence and confident stakeholder management
  • Exceptional analytical skills, a structured and solution-oriented working style, and solid business acumen
  • Excellent command of both German and English, written and spoken
  • Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 30–40%) to support the global rollout of initiatives and close collaboration with our worldwide sites

 

The position is based in Kremsmünster or Vienna.

In accordance with legal requirements in Austria, we are obliged to disclose the minimum annual gross salary for this position as defined by the collective agreement, which is € 72,171.26 (Chemical Industry Collective Agreement).
