We are currently looking for an experienced and dynamic Head of Sales, to lead our operations in Bulgaria with the potential to take the next step in their career as Managing Director Bulgaria. Our team in Bulgaria consists of around 60 employees across three sites, with the main facility located in Lovec and two satellite locations in Sofia and Sliven. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our business in Bulgaria, driving growth and profitability, managing sales & operations, and ensuring the successful implementation of our strategic objectives.
Your challenge
• Develop and execute strategies to drive growth and profitability in Bulgaria, reporting to General Manager South East Europe
• Provide strong leadership and direction to the local sales team and in future also to the operations and admin team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration and profitability
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including clients and partners
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and risks
• Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
• Drive operational & sales excellence and continuous improvement initiatives
• Represent the company in the local community and industry events
Your profile
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field
• Proven track record of success in a leadership role, preferably in a combined sales and production environment
• Strong business and sales skills with a deep understanding of the Bulgarian market and business environment.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels
• Results-oriented with a focus on driving performance and achieving targets
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to frequently travel within Bulgaria and occasional abroad (South East Europe)
• Fluent in Bulgarian and English
