Your challenge

As the Head of Maintenance at NEVEON Romania, you will play a pivotal role in defining and driving the comprehensive maintenance strategy that ensures our production machinery and facilities operate at their highest levels of availability, reliability, and safety. This leadership position requires you to oversee all facets of maintenance operations, including preventive, predictive, and corrective activities, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal asset performance.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute a strategic maintenance roadmap aligned with business and operational goals, ensuring high equipment availability and asset reliability.
  • Drive preventive and predictive maintenance, corrective actions, KPI tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives (TPM, Lean, RCM) to enhance operational performance.
  • Lead, develop, and optimize a multidisciplinary maintenance team while ensuring compliance with labor laws, company policies, and ethical standards.
  • Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements, promoting a strong safety culture and regulatory adherence.
  • Support and participate in regular audits and inspections from internal, external, and regulatory bodies to maintain high safety and quality standards.
  • Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and external service providers with a focus on cost efficiency and reliability.
  • Lead technical projects, asset commissioning, and digital transformation initiatives, including CMMS/EAM optimization and predictive maintenance adoption.

Your Profile

Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering or similar)

Experience

  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in maintenance or engineering roles
  • At least 2 years in a team leading or managerial maintenance/engineering role
  • Strong experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • At least 2 years’ experience in automotive industry

Technical & Professional Skills

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems
  • Experience with CMMS/EAM systems
  • Solid understanding of maintenance methodologies (TPM, RCM, Lean)
  • Budget management and cost control experience
  • Project management skills
